Our monthly rabbit project meeting was held on Saturday January 18 2015.

We had a rabbit house building contest, however these were not actual rabbit houses there models. 4-H was testing to see how well people understand the basic needs for a rabbit and the advanced needs basic needs like the house food dispenser, water bottle, and a room to sleep in and advanced needs like waste tray for the rabbit to go to the bathroom. To create these rabbit houses we used materials like hot glue gun, cardboard, tape, bubblewrap, popsicle sticks, wire wrap, and shoe boxes plus many more materials.

We broke up into 2 teams of all ages (no restrictions) 5 people each team. Everyone had to do something when building the house even if it was something little, the older kids did the bigger work like making the structure of the house while the younger kids did things like design and ideas.

During this we actually were having a pot luck right before the contest started (A potluck is when you bring food from house or restaurant and share it with everyone) this activity was really fun i enjoyed it.
